The St Francis Way from La Verna to Assisi is about 180 km long and is usually divided into 8 to 10 stages. Our trips are normally 7 days long, and we split some stages to make them suitable for less experienced walkers.
Describing the St Francis Way pilgrimage is not an easy task – it touches something within us that words are not enough to describe.
Following St. Francis's steps means getting comfortably lost between woods and olive groves, hamlets and cathedrals; Spello with its flower-filled alleys, Spoleto with its fortress, Medieval Anghiari, Energetic Assisi; river pathways and forest paths immersed in the trees, where listening to the silence and nature sounds is as important as walking.
