Maps and documentation

Davide deals with everything regarding maps and documentation: he is in charge of checking, improving, preparing and shipping all parts of the travel documentation - including our special APP - to our travellers.

When he is not dealing with maps and itineraries, he takes care of our online shop. 

For him, travelling means discovering all the hidden treasures of the places he visits, always taking a step further, expecting the unexpected.

He will never forget Patagonia, but dreams of cycling through Italy, north to south. 

In his free time he is always moving - be it on the saddle of his bike or as he learns new swing dance moves! 

Greta Guercini

Head of groups and sustainability

Greta takes care of our group trips and of agents who are interested in offering our walking trips to their clients. She is also our Head of Sustainability, something that she is especially passionate about. 

Her favorite trip has been Bavaria, where she lived for ten days, hosted by a local family; her dream trip would be visiting Libya, where her mother was born. 

For her, to travel means to find wonder in everything, and soak in everything the destination has to offer: the culture, the historical sites, local stories, people, music, silence. She especially loves the mountains, in which she finds peace and connection. 

In her free time she reads books about history and politics, she practices Calistenics - which helps her get out of her comfort sone - and spends time with the people she loves, her primary source of energy and happiness. 

Luca Pacchiarini

Travel Advisor

Luca has been working with SloWays since the beginning: together with Cecilia, he answers our travellers' calls and emails and follows their bookings. 

For him, to travel means to fill the distance between imagination and reality, making them interact and complete each other.

He loves Sicily, from where his family comes from, and dreams of cycling through Spain or Portugal and visiting Albania and Montenegro. 

In his free time he loves spending time outside, buy more books than he has time to read, make collages and research new music - the stranger, the better. 

Ottavia Mapelli

Communication and tailor made trips

Ottavia has witnessed SloWays being created: now he focuses on promoting and communicating our trips in the best possible way. Thanks to the experience gained, she also creates tailormade trips for our clients. 

For her, to travel means to discover new sides of herself: she fears that, by staying in one place, she may miss a lot of things for her to discover. She sometimes feels nostalgic for places she has yet to visit. 

Her favorite trip? A 5 week cycling adventure through Italy, walking the St Olav Way in Norway, hiking in the Pacific Northwest National Parks. She now dreams of Iceland and United States. 

In her free time she reads a lot - especially American authors - and drinks a lot of coffee, which she is especially passionate about. 

Tullia Caballero

CEO

Tullia is the CEO of SloWays, the "Chief Creator of Dreams" as she likes to define herself. 

For her, travelling is all about introspection, knowledge, discovery, reflection. It means giving yourself time to understand, learn and work on your bias. 

A trip she will never forget? 10.000 Km in the Argentinian Patagonia, with her husband and daughter. Her dream is to walk the whole Via Francigena, from Canterbury to Santa Maria di Leuca: she is jealous of any traveller booking a trip longer than one week, she would love to join them all! 

In her free time... she travels, obviously. But she also loves dancing, especially Latin dances, and is a huge foodie: she loves eating, cooking and hosting great parties with her friends.
