How many people are in the group?
The group is never more than 15 people; more often, it's about 8/10 people plus the guide.
Who will be my guide?
All our guides are certified hiking guides because we want you to feel safe and supported in the best way possible. We assign guides to our tours primarily based on their knowledge of the area so they can tell you about it in the best way; all our guides have different personalities and interests - bird watchers, watercolorists, biologists, cooks, climbers, and musicians. The passions are many - they are all passionate ambassadors of the places and things they love.
How do I know if I am fit enough for the trip I have chosen? I don't want to slow down the group.
One of the reasons our travelers choose a group trip is because they don't feel ready to travel alone yet, because they have no experience of walking or because they want to feel supported; however, some training is always required, even for the easiest treks. Ask us for advice, we will be able to tell you if the trip you are interested in is suitable for your fitness level. In any case, don't worry: if you don't feel able to tackle a day of walking, the guide and us from the office will help you find the best solution to reach the next hotel, for example by public transport or a private transfer.
I would like to travel in a single room, is that possible?
Usually yes; the single room supplement, in this case, is indicated on the travel card. There are usually few available, so if you are interested we recommend you book as soon as possible! In some cases, the trip only includes dormitories or multiple rooms without the possibility of having a private room - this is also clearly indicated on the trip card.
I would like to share a room with another participant I don't know, is that possible?
Yes, usually we match participants of the same sex who are traveling alone but want to share a room.
Which meals are included?
You will find this info on your travel card. For meals not included, usually, the guide in agreement with the group books a restaurant where everyone can eat together; for the daily picnics to be done during the walking hours, sandwiches are bought together before setting off.
I would like luggage transfer, an additional night, a private transfer to the starting place of the trip or a train ticket, is it possible?
