Enjoy exhilarating hikes through a magnificent nature reserve with stunning landscapes of dramatic limestone mountains and snow-capped peaks, picture-perfect alpine pastures and idyllic meadows. Val di Fassa in the Dolomites boats an enchanting landscape, an incredible cuisine, part of Ladin tradition. You start from Canazei and you will walk on different paths every day: from Sasso Piatto to "Via del Pan", that offers to you an amazing view on Marmolada glacier. The rich variety of wildlife includes marmots and chamois, and an extraordinary variety of flowers bloom in their thousands in spring and summer. You are constantly surrounded by the Dolomites, gentle white giants that sunset magically turns pink. The walks on well-marked trails are satisfyingly long but never exhausting.

From here you enter the bizar landscape between the two giants Sasso Piatto on your right and the Sasso Lungo on your left. It resembles a lunar landscape. At Rif. Vicenza you go for 550 meters steep down to the valleystation of the Sasso Lungo lift. You could also take the lift down if you are tired or your knees hurt. Finally you reach Passo Gardena, where your hut is.
