Magna Via Francigena Pilgrimage

In the Warm Heart of Sicily

Called "Magna" for its greatness and importance as an ancient Roman Road, Magna Via Francigena stretches from Palermo to Agrigento among fields and trazzere - the ancient shepherd trails -  Arab villages and the splendor of the Valley of the Temples.

This is not the Sicily one is used to or would imagine - it's inland Sicily, with its grean open landscapes and hamlets perched on the hills,  the labyrinth of streets of Arab villages, waterfalls and natural reserves.
