Arrive in Lubeck, and take your time to stroll through the Old Town. Lübeck, a historical Hanseatic city, is a gem of architecture with a beautiful waterfront, lakes, characteristic shops and quaint locales.

Day 2:    From Lubeck to Wismar (57-77 km)

Today you will cycle to Travemünde, starting point of your adventure on the Baltic Sea. Take the ferry to Priwall and continue through Klützer Winkel and Boltenhagen. You then cycle along Wismar Bay finally reaching Wismar. This town is one of the most beautiful Hanseatic cities in the region of Mecklenburg-Pomerania. The noble, magnificent architecture reflects the strength of the once mighty Hanseatic League.

Day 3:    From Wismar to Kühlungsborn (31-46 km)

The historical centre of Wismar suffered minor damage during the Second World War, but a walk through the centre before leaving for your daily cycle is worth the time. Today you will cycle through "die Kühlung", a chain of hills close to the coastline. You will arrive in Kühlungsborn, a lively sea resort.

Day 4:    From Kühlungsborn to Warnemünde to Rostock (27-40 km)

Cycle along the coast to reach Warnemünde, a resort town near Rostock. If you want to relax a bit, you can also take a train called “Molli” to Bad Doberan: you can then cycle from there to Warnemünde/Rostock crossing the countryside through backroads.

Day 5:    From Warnemünde/Rostock to Fischland/Darss (40-52 km)

Warnemünde is located at the estuary of the Warnow river into the Baltic. You can walk along the river and the sea, where fishing boats and sailing yachts dock. Continue your trip on the trail to Wustrow, encountering the artist colony of Ahrenshoop, where several painters live and work. Your accommodation for tonight is on the scenic Fischland Peninsula.

Day 6:    From Darss to Barth (30-42 km)

Today you will cycle through the forests, but consider taking some time for an excursion to the beaches. There are several quiet and romantic spots. You can then resume your trip through the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park, migration ground for cranes and grey geese.

Day 7:    From Barth to Stralsund (45-57 km)

The last day of your trip will take you along the Barth Bay, and you will see your final destination getting closer as you glimpse its three characteristic towers drawing closer.

You will spend the night in Stralsund, UNESCO site due to its rich historical heritage (founded by slavic colonies, it was also an important centre of Swedish domination in Northern Germany). Visit its impressive of Hanseatic architecture, and enjoy the views on the island of Rugen (in front of the town)

Day 8:    Auf Wiedersehen Stralsund!

Return your bicycles after breakfast. Travellers are responsible for their own transportation home. You may reserve our transfer shuttle back to Lübeck at the time of booking.
